Run-14. 2012 - Hanoi, Vietnam
Hanoi hosted
the MIH for the second time between 26 and 28 October. A Red Dress
Run on Friday kicked things off prior to the welcome dinner at the
Hanoi Club. On Saturday, the Hashers were transported to Hoa Lac for
a nice run out in the country. The pack was treated to a dinner at a
local restaurant near the lake before being transported back to
town.
The Sunday Run took place to the north of the city and involved
running around an island in the middle of the Red River. The run
ended at a soccer ground. The Circle and after run party were
somewhat interrupted by rain and wind with which the large open
tent-like structures that had been erected were unable to cope.
C’est la vie.
BoBo again held the Full Moon Run 4˝ on Monday, which could no
longer justify its “underground” status since it attracted about 75
hard-core Hashers who were happy to hang around to attend another
Hash. They were transported across the Red River by bus and enjoyed
the opportunity of running through old cemeteries and through some
old traditional village districts before ending up for a party at a
large restored traditional teak house.
